ALFA Foundation

This institution promotes and supports initiatives that contribute to improving the quality of life of the communities. The ALFA Foundation is actively involved with several worldwide organizations on projects focused on three priority areas:

• Education, as ALFA believes is the main driver of a society's development.
• Nutritional Health, specially focused on improving child nutrition given its growing concern around the world.
• Environmental Sustainability, mainly by raising awareness of its importance and the impact that individual actions have.

The ALFA Planetarium

Since its foundation in 1978, the ALFA Planetarium has focused on promoting appreciation for science and technology, particularly among children and young people. This museum includes an ImaxDome system cinema as well as areas for educational exhibitions and interactive games. The ALFA Planetarium is one of the most visited cultural sites in Mexico.

Education

It is the most relevant topic in ALFA's sustainability program. Therefore, through the ALFA Foundation, significant resources are allocated annually to support education at all levels, including schools located in vulnerable areas or those that serve people with physical disabilities.

Social Assistance

ALFA supports initiatives which have a direct impact on communities under the philosophy of helping people move forward by themselves. Thus, it works with institutions that care for needy people, severe health problems or in extreme poverty. Also, it promotes nutrition programs, especially for children in marginalized areas.
